At least 2 acts of vandalism took place in June, motivated by hatred or neo-Nazi ideological attitudes - the synagogue in Smolensk and the mosque in Ivanovo suffered. Total since the beginning of the year there were at least 27 such actions.
The largest action of nationalists in June was an attack on a geological exploration camp in the Voronezh region - right-wing radicals in their own way joined protests against nickel mining at the site of the Elan copper-nickel deposit. On the evening of June 22, 2013, in the Novokhopersk district, about a thousand people, led by nationalists and Cossacks, broke into the territory of the exploration camp and set fire to drilling rigs and some buildings. Who exactly took part in attacks is not very clear. Raids on places where migrants live are becoming more and more popular among right-wing radicals.
