The Lutheran parish of Vyborg seeks through the court the return of the church house

In June 2013, representatives of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Vyborg applied to the Arbitration the court of St. Petersburg with a lawsuit against the Leningrad Regional Committee for Management state property. The subject of the dispute is a five-story church building with an area 1,000 sq.m, located at 5 Dimitrova Street and owned by Lutheran parish until 1944 (the building housed the pastor's apartments, a Sunday school and an economic unit).

After In 1944, the building was the House of Officers, currently the building belongs to city ​​administration. Management Committee municipal property of the Vyborgsky district of the Leningrad region refuses transfer the building to the Lutheran community, arguing his position by the fact that it is not about the liturgical, but about the economic building.
