Orthodox activists in Sergiev Posad demand the demolition of the monument to Lenin
21 July 2013, it became known that representatives of the Orthodox organization "Holy Rus” sent a letter to the authorities of Sergiev Posad demanding to demolish or at least move the monument to Lenin.
In their opinion, the monument to Lenin should not stand opposite the monument to the founder of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.
No power did not respond to this initiative.
