In St. Petersburg, a criminal case has been brought to court regarding the posting of materials on the Internet by the Caucasus Emirate organization.

July 23, 2013 brought to court criminal case initiated under Part 1 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code (public calls for terrorist activities or public justification of terrorism) against Murat Sarbashev.

According to investigators, in August 2010 he posted on his page of the social network "VKontakte" a video recording " appeal by R.A. Khalilov, who was organizer and leader of underground Islamist terrorist formations on the territory of the Republic of Dagestan and the Chechen Republic, included to the international terrorist organization "Imarat Kavkaz", asserting the need for armed struggle and the commission of unlawful violent actions against representatives of the Russian nation, not professing Islam ”, as well as comments on the article, which contain public justification of terrorism.

Recall M. Sardashev was detained in St. Petersburg along with other Muslims at the Apraksin Dvor clothing market on February 8, 2013 of the year.
