Criminal case for public insults of a university associate professor

On August 13, 2013, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Stavropol Territory announced the initiation of a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity) in relation to a young man (born in 1993).

According to the investigation, on May 13, 2013, a young man in the building of the design faculty of the North Caucasus Federal University publicly insulted the associate professor " on the grounds of her nationality, as well as the way of life, culture, traditions of her nationality ."
