Handwritten collection of texts by Fayzrakhmanists is prohibited

On August 21, 2013, the prosecutor's office of Tatarstan reported that according to the statement of the prosecutor's office of the Soviet district of Kazan was recognized as extremist a collection of handwritten books by leader of the banned Fayzrakhman Sattarov, Faizrahmanist community. The claim was based on the conclusion linguistic-psychological-religious forensic examination, according to which the texts of the faizrakhmanists included in the collection are "directed on the formation of a negative perception of representatives of other religious groups and an aggressive model of behavior towards them " . According to experts, "a number of given interpretations religious norms, the imposed form of creation and functioning of religious communities do not correspond to the classical concepts of Islam and are specific for the religious group "Faizrahmanists" , "the materials submitted for the study contain statements aimed at inciting discord between people on the basis of their attitude to religion" . The court agreed with the arguments of the experts.

Note that "the formation of a negative perception" of anyone, as well as inconsistency with "classical concepts of Islam" are not included in the definition of extremist activity in Russian legislation. And to the question of whether the materials contain statements aimed at inciting discord, has the right to answer only court.

What regarding "aggressive behavior", it should be noted that the community was not seen in any aggressive actions.
