Eagle: Convicted for graffiti on buildings

On August 19, 2013, the Court of the Zavodskoy District of Orel issued a guilty verdict against a local resident of the village of Glazunovka, 18-year-old Igor Kostin. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity). Earlier it was reported that the young man was charged under Part 2 of Art. 214 of the Criminal Code (vandalism motivated by ethnic hatred).

Recall that in October this year in the city of Orel, vandals scribbled glass showcase of the Natasha store with neo-Nazi slogans, and then put a swastika and slogans on the concrete support of the railway bridge on intersection of Moskovskaya street and Moskovskoe highway.

The court sentenced Igor Kostin to 450 hours of compulsory work.
