A sentence was passed in Kosterevo for publishing racist videos on the VKontakte network.

On August 1, 2013, it became known that the Petushinsky District Court of the Vladimir Region had convicted a 21-year-old resident of the city of Kosterevo. He was accused by the investigating authorities under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of hatred and enmity, humiliation of the dignity of a person and a group of persons, committed in public) and paragraph "a, b" part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code (theft committed by a group of persons).

Recall that in January 2012, a young man distributed on his page on the social network "VKontakte" in free access " a video clip "Skinheads", with a demonstration and verbal commentary on the murder of two citizens of non-Slavic origin ." In March 2008, by decision of the Novgorod City Court, the video was recognized as extremist. On the night of March 11, 2012, a young man, together with a minor, climbed into the premises of the enterprise's workshop, where the attackers stole two electric motors, a sled, and hid the stolen goods in a friend's garage.

During searches at the places of residence and stay of young people, literature, stickers and video materials with extremist content, as well as weapons were seized.

The court sentenced a resident of Kosterevo to 350 hours of compulsory work.
