On August 30, 2013, bailiffs disrupted a church service in Iberian Synodal Church in Suzdal, owned by the Russian Orthodox autonomous church. More than ten people arrived at the temple during the liturgy and tried to remove the relics of St. Euphemia and Euphrosyne of Suzdal.
In the process of seizure, the bailiffs dragged him by the vestments officiating Metropolitan of Suzdal and Vladimir Theodore and broke the legs of the ark.
The basis for the seizure was a judicial act, about which ROAC members knew nothing.
It turned out that on August 28 the Suzdal District Court Vladimir region accepted the claim of the territorial administration Federal Property Management Agency to the ROAC, the essence of the claim and the date of consideration are unknown.
It is assumed that the court ruled on the arrest of the relics in as a security measure in a claim.
Recall that in 2012 the Federal Property Management Agency sought the removal of relics from the ROAC, but in February 2013 the proceedings were terminated .
