Criminal case for calls for xenophobic violence on the VKontakte network

On August 30, 2013, the Prosecutor's Office of the Vologda Oblast announced that an indictment had been approved in a criminal case against an 18-year-old resident of the city of Belozersk, accused under Part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremist activities). The case was sent to the justice of the peace of the Vologda region in the judicial section No. 44 for consideration on the merits.

According to investigators, in February 2012, he posted xenophobic videos on the VKontakte page " calling for the implementation of violent actions in order to completely stop existence, exterminate representatives of nationalities other than Russians ."
