September 16, 2013 Tagansky District Court of Moscow dismissed the claim of the editors of the site Grani.Ru on the cancellation of two warnings Roskomnadzor issued to her for violating Art. 4 of the Law of the Russian Federation "On the means mass media". Recall that Roskomnadzor regards as actions, aimed at "inciting religious discord", publishing photos shirts of Pussy Riot T- Novosibirsk artist Artem Loskutov. Two warnings issued in within one year, sufficient to file a claim to close the publication. "Edges" intend to challenge the decision of the district court in the Moscow City Court.
It turned out in court that Roskomnadzor issued warnings as a result of appeals of the Novosibirsk prosecutor's office, offended believers in the department did not applied. From our point of view, both warnings were issued incorrectly, since the image on T-shirts (stylized as an icon) does not contain signs inciting religious hatred, that is, hatred of Orthodoxy or its followers.
According to Grani, the Promise.Ru website also appealed against the actions Roskomnadzor, the case has been pending in the Moscow Arbitration Court since September 5.
We also recall that in early September, the Central District Court of Novosibirsk banned distribute on the network a painting by Artem Loskutov, reproductions of which printed on T-shirts.
