On October 1, 2013, the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Krasnoyarsk recognized Benito Mussolini’s book “The Third Way: Without Democrats and Communists” as extremist. The case was initiated by the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.
According to the court ruling, the book by the leader of Italian fascism contains statements “ that negatively evaluate a person or group on the basis of race, gender, nationality, language, origin, attitude to religion, as well as membership in any social group ,” as well as calls to “ hostile actions of one group of persons towards another, united on the basis of race, nationality, origin, and attitude to ideology .”
The book was published in 2012 by the Algorithm publishing house.
On September 27, 2013, it became known that a criminal case had been opened in Moscow regarding the printing of works by Mussolini and Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels in this publishing house.
Let us recall that in September 2013, the prosecutor's office of the Central Administrative District of Moscow announced that it had filed a lawsuit with the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow demanding that the same book be included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials.
