The prosecutor's office found prohibited materials in the Ulyanovsk prison and two colonies

The Ulyanovsk prosecutor in charge of overseeing the observance of laws in correctional institutions of the region demanded that the administration of three local penitentiary institutions eliminate violations of the law and bring to justice officials who allowed the distribution of extremist literature.

October 2, 2013 Prosecutor's Office of the Ulyanovsk Region reported that the Ulyanovsk Prosecutor for Supervision of Compliance with Laws in Correctional Institutions of the Region made submissions to the administration of the local prison, as well as colonies No. 3 and No. 10 of the Federal Penitentiary Service Russia in the Ulyanovsk region with a demand to eliminate violations of the legislation on countering extremist activities and bring those responsible to justice officials. The reason was that in one of the cells of the prison there was the forbidden book of V.N. Emelyanov "Desionization" was discovered, in the other is also the forbidden "40 hadiths" of Imam al-Nawawi, in the ancillary indoors - "The Truths of the Eternity of the Soul" from the collected works "Risale-i Nur" Said Nursi and books recognized as extremist by Osan Nuri Topbash "Incomparable personality role model Muhammad Mustafa, may Allah bless him and welcomes", "In the light of the Holy Qur'an" and "History of prophets" (part 2). In colony No. 3 in the office head of the detachment of convicts, a prohibited brochure of Jehovah's Witnesses "What does the Bible really teach?", and in one of the chamber-type rooms there is a book recognized as extremist Maududi Fundamentals of Islam.

In the back room of a detachment of convicts of colony No. 10, a forbidden book by al-Qahtani "The Fortress of a Muslim" was found.

Note that all of the above books, with the exception of the justifiably prohibited "Desionization", are among the religious literature recognized by the Russian courts extremist, from our point of view, illegally, and therefore as illegal we are considering the fight against its spread.
