A NOMP activist's home was searched in Volgograd

On October 1, 2013, a search was carried out in Volgograd in the apartment of Anatoly Boltykhov, deputy chairman of the Minin and Pozharsky People's Militia organization.

Operational activities were carried out by a joint task force of the FSB and the Center for Combating Extremism of the UK. Searches were also carried out at the place of residence of Boltykhov's parents and at the office of a commercial structure belonging to him.

In an unofficial conversation, the operatives explained that they were checking the statement about shouting "extremist slogans" at an opposition picket in the park in front of the regional government building.
