Mufti Muhammad Baybikov is suspected of terrorism

A representative of the Council of Muftis in the Ulyanovsk region is suspected of terrorism.

On October 2, 2013, it became known about the excitation in Ulyanovsk criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of activities extremist organization banned by the court) against Mufti Muhammad Baibikov, a representative Council of muftis in the Ulyanovsk region.

M. Baibikov is suspected of being a member of a banned terrorist organization. organization "Imarat Kavkaz", operating on the territory of the local penitentiary colony number 2.

Mufti denies their involvement in the activities of the organization.
