Bloggers learned about the ban on the video of Navalny supporters

Bloggers discovered that in the summer a video of Navalny’s supporters, filmed back in 2011, was banned in Novosibirsk.

On October 28, 2013, bloggers drew attention to the fact that on June 21, 2013, the Kirovsky District Court of Novosibirsk banned the video “Let’s remember the Crooks and Thieves their Manifesto 2002,” which was posted on Alexei Navalny’s blog and on YouTube in October 2011.

The court banned the video among several materials by Russian nationalists, all of which were included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials under number 2066.

The video was published on the eve of the 2011 State Duma elections. Its content boils down to listing a number of unrealized election promises of United Russia from the notorious draft manifesto of the party in 2002 and a call to vote for any party except United Russia. This material does not contain any signs of extremism.
