Residents of Kemerovo are again protesting against the construction of a temple on Oktyabrsky Prospekt

Residents of Kemerovo continue to oppose the construction of a church on Oktyabrsky Prospekt.

thirty October 2013 in Kemerovo repeated public hearings were held, dedicated to the construction of the temple on Oktyabrsky Prospekt.

The event was attended about 20 residents of the surrounding houses protesting against the construction. 138 more residents expressed their protest in writing.

Recall the result of the first public hearings held in June 2013 was allocation of land for the construction of the temple. Residents of the surrounding houses contacted prosecutor's office with a demand to hold a second hearing and cancel the decision on allotment of area.

Main the reason for the protests is the fears of the residents that the house number 63, in the courtyard of which it is planned to build a church, will move into the foundation pit.
