On November 8, 2013, in the Ivanovo region, the case of anti-Caucasian videos on the VKontakte network was brought to court.
On November 8, 20113, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Ivanovo Region announced the completion of the investigation of the criminal case against a 20-year-old resident of Ivanovo. He is charged under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of national hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity).
According to investigators, in 2011-2012, the young man posted on his page on the VKontakte social network links to videos of an "extremist orientation." According to the UPC, he relocated "10 stories reflecting the characteristics of the unethical behavior of people of Caucasian nationality towards women" and videos with Nazi symbols, scenes of violence. Videos on the placed hyperlinks were watched by at least 17 Internet users.
The criminal case with the approved indictment was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
