In the Volgograd region, an imam was fined for distributing extremist literature

In the Volgograd region, the imam of the local religious organization Mahal Mosque No. 791” was fined for selling religious literature included in the Federal List of Eestremist Materials.

On November 14, 2013, it became known that the Pallasovsky District the court of the Volgograd region decided to involve the imam-hatib of the local Asylbek mosque Ryskalieva to administrative responsibility under Art. Art. 20.29 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (dissemination of extremist materials).

An earlier forensic audit found that in the shopping center of the city of Pallasovka, the mosque sold literature included in Federal list of extremist materials. During the audit, 13 books and 7 CDs.

By the decision of the court, A. Ryskaliyev was fined 4,000 rubles. extremist literature removed.

According to the imam, he did not know that the materials were recognized extremist.

We do not have data on what kind of literature distributed by A. Ryskaliyev and whether it was lawful to include it in the Federal list of extremist materials.
