In the Volgograd region a sentence was passed for the destruction of Yazidi graves

On November 6, 2013, three young people from group "Gray Dogs" for the destruction of the graveyard of the Yezidis on city ​​cemetery Petrov Val in the Kamyshinsky district. The Kamyshinsky city court found guilty three local residents - 20-year-old Kirill Isaev, 21-year-old Nikita Gubanov and 21-year-old Sergey Lavrinenko - of desecrating and damaging tombstones motivated by ethnic hatred.

The state prosecution in the criminal case was supported by the Kamyshin city prosecutor's office.

at the cemetery of the urban settlement of Petrov Val Recall that on May 29 and July 1, 2013, Isaev, Gubanov and Lavrinenko desecrated 13 graves of Yezidis . Some of the monuments were split, and insulting inscriptions and symbols were painted on the steles of some tombstones. They filmed everything that happened.

During the inquiry and in court, the young people pleaded guilty to the young man's crime in full, they explained their actions by "hostility towards persons of non-Slavic origin and alcohol intoxication."

The actions of the convicts are qualified according to paragraphs. "a, b" part 2 of Art. 244 of the Criminal Code (desecration and damage to grave structures, committed by a group of persons, motivated by national hatred).

The court sentenced Kirill Isaev, Nikita Gubanov and Sergei Lavrinenko to 1 year and 6 months in prison each to be served in a colony-settlement.
