The school teacher will still have to pay a fine for publishing Mutsuraev’s songs

On October 31, 2013, the decision of the Kaluga district court that fined a schoolteacher for posting on social media network "VKontakte" of two banned songs by Timur Mutsuraev.

In August 2013, the Kaluga District Court considered administrative case on the mass distribution of extremist materials (art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

The case was initiated against the secondary school teacher Ifail Aliyev, who was accused of what he published on his page in the social network "VKontakte" two banned songs widely known in the North Caucasus Chechen bard Timur Mutsuraev (a supporter of the separation of Chechnya from Russia, participant of the first Chechen war by the separatists).

The court found I. Aliyev guilty and fined 2,000 rubles.

The teacher did not agree with this decision and appealed it to Kaluga Regional Court, insisting that his case had no composition administrative offense because he did not know that the songs were recognized extremist.

On October 31, the Kaluga Regional Court upheld the decision of the lower Court without changes, and it entered into force.
