In Yaroslavl, a fan was arrested for holding Nazi symbols at the 1/16 final match of the Russian Cup between Shinnik and Spartak on October 30, 2013.
On November 20, 2013, the website of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Yaroslavl Region reported that one of the young people born in 1989, a resident of the Vladimir Region, was identified, who was holding a flag with Nazi symbols. On November 19, 2013, he was taken by police officers to Yaroslavl.
The Kirovsky District Court of Yaroslavl ruled to bring him to administrative responsibility under Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (propaganda and public demonstration of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols). Based on the decision, the offender was subjected to administrative arrest for a period of 7 days.
In addition, the investigating authorities initiated a criminal case under p. 214 of the Criminal Code (vandalism).
