On November 21, 2013, suspects in the murder of an Uzbek citizen after the "Russian March" on November 4 were detained in St. Petersburg.
The case was initiated under paragraph "g" part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder committed by a group of persons).
Investigators, together with the criminal investigation department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, detained 30-year-old Andrei Kosnikov, 18-year-old Sergei Bondar, as well as 5 teenagers aged 15 to 17, most of whom are college students. According to investigators, the leader of the group is a 30-year-old resident Primorsky district of St. Petersburg Andrey Kosnikov. Lately he unemployed, previously worked as an administrator of a small entertainment institutions. He also made a confession. All of them are suspected of the fact that on November 4, 2013, a citizen of Uzbekistan was attacked near house 33 on Karavaevskaya Street, beaten with his hands and feet, stabbed several times, as a result, the foreigner died at the scene.

indications. By the end of the "Russian March" in the crowd of young
nationalists began to divide into groups. Young people were moving towards the subway
"Fishing". As the St. Petersburg media describe the attack, “ outwardly, the attackers were united by an inconspicuous detail - everyone was wearing sneakers
had white laces. The attack itself
happened at about 5:30 pm. Judging by the injuries, the visitor was beaten in
the style of the attacks of the neo-Nazi group Borovikov-Voevodin ".
All detainees have their own VKontakte pages, where
there are symbols of the Third Reich - Teutonic crosses, swastikas and xenophobic comments. One of the sources in the Criminal Investigation Department said that the leader of the group " not only knows Aleksey Voevodin , who was sentenced to life imprisonment , and his wife, but also communicated with him ."
The issue of choosing a measure of restraint by the suspects and bringing charges against them is being decided. Information about the commission of other crimes motivated by ethnic hatred is being checked.
