Representatives of the Russian Orthodox Autonomous Church (ROAC) are offended by the content of the article "State Department in a cassock?".

November 21, 2013 year it became known that the Suzdal diocese of the Russian Orthodox Autonomous Church (ROAC) intends to demand from the editors of the newspapers "Vladimirskiye Vedomosti" and "Suzdal Nov" refutation of information published in the article "The State Department in cassock?" Representatives of the diocese say that the content offended their feelings text that " contains 50 slanderous statements, insults and false information, many of which contain open calls for interfaith hostility and confrontation, as well as extremist slogans .”

Diocese also declares that the author of the text insulted the metropolitans of the ROAC and Alexander Soldatov, editor-in-chief of Portal-Credo.Ru.

In the text, indeed, there are quite a few negative and evaluative expressions (for example, “false metropolitan, “as if a confession”, Russophobe, noisy and a hysterical sect, the self-made essence of the ROAC), however, extremist statements in there is no text, rather, one can notice a pronounced anti-sectarian and anti-American discourse.
