At the end of November 2013, a resident of Nizhny Novgorod, Alexander Bukharets, was sentenced to 2 years in a penal colony for sending threatening letters to Judge Pavel Melekhin, who was considering the case of the leader of the NOMP, Colonel Vladimir Kvachkov.
Bukharian was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code (threat of murder, harm to health, destruction or damage to property against a judge or his relatives in connection with the consideration of cases or materials in court).
Recall that on December 18, 2012 and February 10, 2013 the suspect threatened to kill the judge Moscow City Court to Pavel Melekhin and his relatives "in connection with the case of coup d'état that he was considering." He sent out with multiple email addresses threatening emails in email boxes listed on the official website of the Moscow City Court. Bukharets was arrested in June 2013.
