Yoshkar-Ola: fine for publishing a prohibited video on a social network

In December 2013, in Yoshkar-Ola, the court fined 3,000 rubles, a local resident Ksenia Belyakova, who posted on the social network VKontakte banned video.

In December 2013, the Yoshkar-Ola City Court of the Republic Mari El issued a decision on an administrative case under Art. 20.29 Administrative Code (dissemination of extremist materials).

The defendant in the case was a 21-year-old local resident Anastasia Belyakova, who published on her page on the social network VKontakte video included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials.

Unfortunately, it was not reported which video in question.

The prosecutor's office notes that the girl had previously been convicted of committing a similar offence.

The court fined K. Belyakova 3,000 rubles.
