At the end of December 2013, 27-year-old Arina Gracheva was convicted in Samara for xenophobic materials on a social network.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Industrial District of Samara supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against 27-year-old Arina Gracheva, accused under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred and enmity, as well as humiliating the dignity of a person and a group of persons on the grounds of race, nationality, origin and attitude to religion).
The court found that from June 2011 to September 2013, Gracheva posted on the social network VKontakte " statements, allegations, as well as information aimed at inciting hatred and enmity, as well as humiliating the dignity of a person and a group of persons on the grounds of race, nationality , origins and attitudes towards religion, photographs, graphic and text objects of an extremist nature ".
The court found the defendant guilty and sentenced her to a fine of 100 thousand rubles.
The verdict did not enter into force.
