In Taganrog, Cossacks protest against the proximity of a Mormon house of worship to a regime institute

In Taganrog, the Cossacks oppose the proximity of the Mormon prayer house to the regime institute.

On December 21, 2013, the Cossacks of Taganrog held a protest action aimed against building a meetinghouse for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on st. Eastern.

The picket was received by the Cossacks of the "Great Don Army", members of the public organization "Russian Community", paratroopers and veterans of the Afghan war.

The protesters were outraged that the public hearings about construction were not carried out, as well as the proximity of the “foreign organization” to Research Institute of Communications ("regime facility").

Recall that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints bought a plot on st. East, where the cafe used to be, in 2007. Then it was received permission to build a prayer house, which was erected.

This is not the first protest. On November 4, 2013, the Cossacks held a similar picket.
