At the end of December 2013, vocational school student A. Mazavin was convicted in Izhevsk for demotivators on the page of the Jewish Sunday School in Izhevsk.
The Leninsky District Court of Izhevsk considered a criminal case against a student of a vocational school A. Mazavin (b. 1996), accused under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity).
The court established that on May 20, 2013, Mazavin posted on the social network VKontakte on the page of the Jewish Sunday School of the city of Izhevsk materials " inciting interethnic hatred and enmity, degrading a person on the grounds of nationality, origin" . The defendant posted on the network demotivators " containing images and statements directed against the Jews ."
Mazavin fully admitted his guilt in committing the crime. The court sentenced him to 80 hours of community service.
