Sky, Euroset, father

The shocking and by no means tolerant speeches of the artist, writer and former priest Ivan Okhlobystin and his very personality are widely discussed in the media and in online communities. The “Owl” archive also did not ignore the artist, noting him among the nominees for the title “Freak of the Year” [1] , since, in our opinion, it is not worth taking Mr. Okhlobystin’s statements seriously. This is just a natural stage in the public activity of the Euroset partner, who has played many roles both in cinema and in life. Today we will tell you about one of these roles of Ivan Ivanovich - the leader and ideologist of his own party.

To do this, we need to go back to the end of 2011, to the time of the start of Medvedev’s legislative reform in the field of party building. It was then that many famous and not so public figures rushed to create their own party. Ivan Okhlobystin was no exception.

The new party bore the pretentious name “Coalition Heaven”. The theoretical basis of the newly created organization was the rather confusing work “Doctrine 77”, written, as you might guess, by the same Okhlobystin. The founding congress of the Coalition Sky party (also a creative evening for Ivan Okhlobystin) took place on April 25, 2012. The showman came on stage in a white caftan and, to the accompaniment of the piano, read out a long text with the main provisions of the Doctrine.”

The action lasted for two hours, after which the creation of the national-patriotic party “Coalition of Heaven” and its upcoming registration was announced. “A Russian person is a person who considers himself such, and the rest is unimportant!”, “In our opinion, anyone who is ready to take responsibility for the fate of the world can consider himself a Russian person,” he said at the end of the concert (that is, the founding congress ) newly-minted party leader Ivan Okhlobystin.

As one might expect, the structure of the party turned out to be quite complex and ornate. It makes no sense to present it. For illustration, we only note that the party was headed by a council of legates of the first level. And legates starting from the third level could take part in some significant meetings.

The ideology was defined as "imperial". Who would ultimately fill the vacant position of emperor was beyond doubt. However, dreams of the throne did not prevent Ivan Okhlobystin from nominating his candidacy for the presidential elections (although it did not come to official registration).

The documents of the newly-minted party were also not received by the Ministry of Justice. And the activities of the “Sky Coalition” gradually faded away.

The coalition itself consisted of two organizations. The first, the Doctrine 77 Society, was headed by Ivan Okhlobystin’s PR director Maxim Brusnitsyn, and the second force in the coalition was the Orthodox youth movement “Georgievtsy!”

Actually, the orthodox “Georgievtsy!” from the very beginning they looked rather strange in the company of Okhlobystin, who was removed from church ministry. This youth movement gained fame in 2007, when they tried to disperse representatives of sexual minorities from the monument to the heroes of Plevna [2] . Subsequently, representatives of “St. George!” They protested against Halloween celebrations, Madonna concerts, and the construction of a new mosque, but their actions did not cause much public resonance. It can be assumed that in 2012 “Georgievtsy!” were going through not the best of times, which led them into the arms of the showman.

Meanwhile, the newly-minted Coalition of Heaven party was plagued by failures one after another. For example, a certain cybersquatter registered several websites with the names of new parties, including Okhlobystin’s “Coalition,” which legates at all levels were very indignant at [3] .

In 2013, the “Coalition” was also present in some “pan-Orthodox” events (for example, the “Khodynka Standing” on October 6, 2013), but did not show much activity.

Soon Okhlobystin abandoned the useless and troublesome party undertaking. And for some time nothing was known about his political leanings, if not for the opportunity to speak out about representatives of non-traditional sexual orientation.

Today, at a new round of popularity, Ivan Ivanovich does not remember the “Coalition of Heaven”. But his political and, most importantly, media path is so intricate that one cannot exclude the possibility of resuscitating this unsuccessful party project.
