Opponents of the construction of the temple on the Khodynka field refute the information about the provision of false signatures of local residents to the Moscow City Hall.
January 22, 2014 initiative group of the “For the Park” movement, which opposes the construction of the temple on the Khodynka field in Moscow, denied the informational message about the fake signatures published on the official website of the Moscow Patriarchy and among news reports of "Interfax-religion" January 21, 2014.
The message said, that " several residents of the Grand Park complex received letters from the prefecture of the Northern administrative district, containing a response to an appeal to the mayor of Moscow, which they didn't sign; the appeal contained a protest against the erection on Khodynka field of the temple in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh; people think they the signatures under the appeal were forged in order to form an incorrect idea of people's attitude to the revival of the shrine » .
Members initiative group "For the Park" are convinced that the dissemination of information about signature forgery is “ a provocation and a new flow of disinformation on pushing through the construction of a religious facility in a conflict area .”
“ Inhabitants of Khodynka really sent letters en masse (nominal, indicating passport data and registration) , - the initiative group "For the Park" said in a message - to the mayor of Moscow and officials SAO, where they reported a forgery: the collection of signatures throughout the SAO for construction churches on Khodynka and issuing them for the signatures of Khodynka residents . <...> Based on this fact, we do not exclude deliberate forgery from Fund 200 appeals on behalf of residents from unscrupulous persons unknown to us with with the aim of disorienting Moscow officials and discrediting several thousand residents, actively protesting against the construction of the temple and formed the movement "For park" to combat park development ".
According to initiative group of the movement "For the park", this is not the first erroneous message, disseminated in the media in connection with the conflicts on the Khodynka field. Yes, according to them opinion, in October 2013, in a rally in support of the construction of the temple, participation is not 1,500 people, but only about a hundred, and most of them do not live in the Khoroshevsky district.
In order to verification of information, members of the initiative group propose to the Fund "Support construction of churches in Moscow" to provide them the originals of the "forged letters" for joint with the residents of the investigation.
