Protest against the construction of a temple in a park in the south-east of Moscow

In the south-east of Moscow, a rally was held against the construction of an Orthodox church in the park.

On January 25, 2014 another action took place in Moscow protest against the construction of a church in the park on Fyodor Poletaev (vl.15). IN The event was attended by about 200 people, residents of the surrounding houses. They emphasized that they were not against the Church, but in defense of the park.

The organizers of the event collected signatures "for the transformation square in the People's Park <...> and against any development of this territory, in including religious buildings . "

Among the posters held by the protesters was like, “Let's save our square lawn! / He gives people ozone!”

Recall that by December 2013, residents had collected about 1500 signatures against the construction of a church in the square.
