Tesak extradited to Moscow

In March 2014, investigators announced to Martsinkevich that the preliminary investigation into the criminal case had been completed. In response, Tesak announced the demand for a new independent psychological and linguistic examination of the case. Earlier, experts from the investigation recognized the videos with Tesak posted on the Internet as extremist, but when the defenders turned to other specialists for an opinion, they did not find anything illegal in these materials. Martsinkevich insists on conducting a new independent examination of the case, explaining that the investigators did not take into account the opinion of lawyers when choosing an expert institution. Martsinkevich's defense also drew the investigation's attention to the insufficient qualifications of the experts who conducted the study. Tesak promised the investigators to go on an indefinite hunger strike if they rejected his petitions to attach the conclusion of an independent expert to the case and did not appoint a new examination.

Recall that a criminal case against Martsinkevich appeared after he posted three videos on the social network. Two of them were posted on September 14 - under the titles “Throw out the chock! Election Campaigning! and "Tesak about the film "Stalingrad" and the situation in Biryulyovo", and one on September 28 - "The Cleaver on the Film of the Football". On December 13, 2013, a Russian court ordered Martsinkevich's arrest in absentia.

January 17, 2014 Russian law enforcement agencies submitted a request for the search for Maksim Martsinkevich to Interpol. After that the police detained him at a hotel in the center of Havana. Cuban policemen conducted searches in the room, all equipment was confiscated, including a cell phone and laptop.

On February 14, the Kuntsevsky Court of Moscow extended Tesak's arrest until April 10.

Recall that Martsinkevich headed the interregional public association "Format-18", recognized as extremist by the decision of the Moscow City Court of December 20, 2010 year . "Format-18" specialized in the production and sale of videos with scenes of Nazi skinheads torturing homeless people and Asian guest workers.

Tesak was convicted in 2008 for a nationalist provocation at the Bilingua club in February 2007. In 2009, he was convicted again for posting a video of staging the hanging of a "Tajik drug dealer". December 31, 2010 year, the term of M. Martsinkevich's imprisonment ended and he was released, after which he took up new “projects”, including the “Occupy Pedophilia” project.

November 7, 2013 on right-wing sites information spread that a criminal case had been opened in Moscow according to part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of national and social hatred) against Martsinkevich. A photo of the decision to initiate appeared in the group criminal case. The authenticity of this document is questionable.

In January 2013, media outlets in Latvia banned Tesak from entering the country.

On the night of February 15-16, 2013, Tesak was detained in Minsk (Belarus) after a fight with anti-fascists. In March , the case against him was closed .

In October 2013, it was reported that Tesak was bullying someone whom he considered representatives of non-traditional sexual orientation in Kharkov (Ukraine) and the attack on the star of the TV show "X-factor" Oleksandr Bohun (born in Sevastopol). Videos of bullying were posted on the Internet.
