Since the beginning of the year at least 29 people suffered from racist attacks, of which 7 people died. These attacks took place in 9 regions of Russia: Moscow and Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Vladimir, Irkutsk and Sakhalin regions, the Republic of Karelia and Tatarstan, Perm Territory (recall, these statistics do not include victims incidents that occurred in the republics of the North Caucasus).

Far-right activity has increased in the past month. Practically all more or less large ultra-right organizations spoke out about the events in Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea, the entry of which into Russia is the majority approves (Crimea is often referred to as "Russian land").
Some of the nationalist organizations held actions in support for Russian-speaking residents of Ukraine, against the Ukrainian authorities and for Russian policy in the region. On March 1, an action of the "People's Cathedral" was held, at which about 100-150 people gathered. March 15 in Moscow in Novopushkinsky square the action was carried out by the Union of Orthodox banner-bearers, and activists joined it "Great Russia" and the Liberal Democratic Party. March 1 in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, Ryazan, Khabarovsk hosted the traditional "Day of Heroes", dedicated to the Pskov paratroopers who died in 2000 in a battle in Chechnya.

In March the community was added to the Federal List of Extremist Organizations faizrakhmanists, recognized as extremist by the decision of the Soviet District Court of Kazan of the Republic of Tatarstan dated February 21, 2013. Thus, the federal list extremist organizations includes 34 organizations (not including 19 organizations that are recognized as terrorist), whose activities are prohibited in judicial order, and the continuation of this activity is punishable under Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
