Theodor Krentzis was born in Athens, graduated from the theoretical faculty and faculty of string instruments of the Greek Conservatory, from 1994 to 1999 studied conducting conducting at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. In 1999, he became an assistant to the conductor of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
