A criminal case has been opened for a xenophobic video on the social network VKontakte.

In April 2014, a criminal case was initiated in the Orenburg region against an 18-year-old student for posting anti-Caucasian materials on the VKontakte social network.

In April 2014, it became known that the Investigative Committee of the RF Investigative Committee for the Orenburg Region initiated a criminal case against an 18-year-old local resident. He is suspected under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity).

According to the investigation, on the evening of May 16, 2013, the suspect posted on his personal page on the VKontakte social network in the public domain a video "aimed at inciting hatred and enmity, humiliating the dignity of a group of people on a national basis, in particular against people from the Caucasus and Central Asia ". Roli was recognized as extremist in 2008 by a decision of the Maykop City Court of the Republic of Adygea.
