Wet in the toilet. Shiny assault. Russia survived. The terrorists have no future, but we have it. All these phrases, of course, are remembered today, when Vladimir Putin tells us about the Kiev "junta", about the "punitive operation" and about the Ukrainian army, which commits a "very serious crime against his people." They automatically pop up in their memory, these phrases, when Moscow again threatens Kyiv by war.
Although we understand that memory fails us and comparisons are incorrect. Then, about fifteen years ago and later, Russia did not fight with anyone, but conducted a counter -terrorist operation. Such counter -terrorism operations happen in life that is easy to confuse with the war, but this, of course, is not war. How to distinguish, you ask? It is difficult to say, but probably on a national basis. If the Russians are fighting with Chechens, then this is an operation. And if the Russians are with Ukrainians, then the war.
There are other distinctive features. So far, the Ukrainian authorities with the help of front-line aviation do not demolish Donetsk and Lugansk from the face of the earth and do not suit filtration camps either in Slavyansk or Kramatorsk, they, apparently, waging a war against their people. On the contrary, the ruins of Grozny in old photographs and torture in Chernokozov, about which the survivors miraculously were narrated, is such a way of bringing the constitutional order.
Armed with this technique, examples are easy to multiply.
Armed men in Chechnya are, of course, militants and international terrorists. Armed men in Slavyansk are a rebellious people in the person of its best representatives. Chechnya in Russia is a logical final of a counter -terrorism operation. On the contrary, the Crimea or the East of Ukraine, or the whole of Ukraine, sent in the same direction as Chechnya, is, as you have already guessed, the "civilized process of the will of citizens", smoothly flowing into the war. By its very essence, a fair, liberation war. Unless the sponsors of enemies are the same as in Slavyansk, that in Beslan are Americans, here we find unexpected similarities. However, why be surprised, isn't it?
No, this is not about double standards, God forbid. I'm talking about something else. We are talking about how it arises, tempers in battles and a state of a certain type is established. The fact that everything that happens before our eyes is natural and logical in our own way. The fact that a state of a certain type is just like that.
First, Chechnya, that is, a counter -terrorist operation, associated with the need to mobilize citizens in the face of mortal danger and tie them with blood, hatred, xenophobia, fear. Then Georgia, and it does not matter that collective cocoys for Orthodox Georgian brothers are something like Dudaev for Russia. Then Crimea with its green men, and spit that the vast majority of Chechens in the 90s also fled away from the metropolis. And now the expansion to the east of Ukraine, through local militants, and when the Ukrainian authorities naturally try to resist them, exercises and maneuvers are resumed on the border with Ukraine, and Putin is over indignation: only the Kiev junta "uses the army against the population within the country!" Well, how to endure it?
The main problem is that a state of a certain type never stops at the achieved. Starting with massacres and suppression of dissent at home and making sure of its complete impunity, this state sooner or later begins to seize foreign territories. Different geopolitical disasters, such as defeat in a hot or Cold War, and unpleasant historical events, enshrined in documents like the Versailles world or Belovezhsky agreement contribute to this. Actually, a state of a certain type then arises when old grievances and humiliation are bubbling in it, and the countries surrounding it with indifference or even some sympathy and understanding observe the process of formation.
This is also called the "collection of lands", and our great political scientist, Professor Migranan, is looking at the root when he says that the best friend of German children, by misunderstanding, missed the chance "to occupy an honorary, important place in the national pantheon of heroes." Annoying, right? And here the question arises, perhaps the most important in the history of mankind: why are they, leaders, Fuhrers and national leaders, building their own states of a certain type, never know how to stop in time? Somewhere in the judo or in the Crimea? Why is it not even the worst of them (I mean one notorious genetic ancestor Zhirinovsky ) always plunge into some foreign campaign and fail in distant lands?
The answer is probably rooted in the special properties of character inherent in the heads of states of a certain type. Something irrational, like an attack of many years of unprovided rage, forcing Hitler, not limiting himself to the collection of German lands, break into neighboring Poland. And then, having bitten and buried almost the whole Europe, to attack the USSR.
This is some kind of immoderate, pathological appetite, which they have, leaders and Fuhrers, always comes during meals, so in the end you have to complete the meal in the bunker with rat poison. This is an inexplicable expansionist hunger, sometimes covering entire nations, which then, sitting on the ruins of their state of a certain type, cannot comprehend what happened to them. For the accident that is accidentally surviving, the representatives are too small and intimidated to clarify the situation to the questioners.
True, victorious times in such states are sometimes drawn for a long time, and today it is more difficult to think about the fate of Ukraine than about the fate of Russia. The victim is generally more painful to think than about the executioner. However, the famous phrases inevitably pop up in memory, and if you are powerless to change anything, then involuntarily you begin to engage in their sorting. Here, for example, is Russia, for example, Russia is worth it , and what to be with it, and what to do to the Ukrainian government today? On the left of the counter -terrorism operation, on the right is war. In the middle of the clove.
