In early May 2014, the head of the community of Jehovah's Witnesses in Spassk-Dalniy was fined "for distributing extremist materials".
On May 8, 2014 it became known that the head of the organization Jehovah's Witnesses in Spassk-Dalniy (Primorsky Territory) found guilty of administrative offense under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (mass distribution of extremist materials) and sentenced to a fine of 2,500 rubles with confiscation of literature. Decree Court has not entered into force.
An administrative case was initiated as a result of the audit, carried out by the border department of the FSB of Russia in the Primorsky Territory, during where 214 copies of books were found in the apartment of the leader of Jehovah's Witnesses, magazines and brochures of Witnesses included in the Federal List of Extremist materials.
Recall that we consider the prohibition of the texts of the Witnesses Jehovah for extremism illegal.
