St. Petersburg: Detained for video recording on the Internet

On May 28, 2014, the St. Petersburg police announced that they had detained a 46-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, who is suspected of posting materials on the Internet aimed at inciting hatred and enmity.
In the course of monitoring open sources on the Internet, employees of the Center "E" of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region discovered a video posted on March 29, 2013 in one of the social networks on the page of one of the users, "calling for the implementation of extremist activities . "

The police have identified the user. It turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of St. Petersburg.

On this fact, a procedural decision was made. During a search at the suspect's place of residence, investigators found and seized a laptop. With regard to the detainee, a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a written undertaking not to leave and proper behavior.
