In June 2014, the Gvardeisky District Court of Kaliningrad ruled to ban access to the website of the People's Will Army.
On June 19, 2014 it became known that the court of the Guards district of Kaliningrad satisfied the claim of the prosecutor's office of the Gvardeisky district and ordered provider LLC "Tees-Dialog" to restrict users' access to the site of the Army of the Will people (AVN), recognized as extremist. In March 2012, the prosecutor's office of the Gvardeisky district filed a similar lawsuit against Rostelecom OJSC (the lawsuit was also satisfied in full).
Recall, from our point of view, the solution to ban the AVN was unlawful because it was based solely on illegal ban movement leaflets.
We also note that we consider the practice of banning websites, associated with prohibited organizations, illegal. If the site contains suspicious materials, a decision should be made to ban them, after which we can talk about blocking access to these particular materials. If the whole site is suspicious, it should be recognized as extremist, and only after that should you close access to it. Communication with the forbidden organization is not a reason to close the site, since the decision to The ban concerned only the organization itself.
Recall that access to the AVN website was also blocked in a number of other Russian regions.
