Zukhel arrived in Ukraine

On July 9, 2014, the well-known Russian nationalist Roman (Zukhel) Zheleznov arrived at Boryspil Airport (Ukraine).
Zheleznov arrived on a flight from Warsaw and told the border guards that is going to fight on the side of the Ukrainian army and will ask Ukrainian citizenship. In Russia, the nationalist is on the wanted list. At the Kiev airport, he was met by representatives of the Ukrainian neo-Nazi group "Social-National Assembly" (SNA), the leaders of which are the leadership of the special battalion of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Azov".

According to the media, " Ukrainian activists who met Zukhel, they explained - he and his people are actively participated in the events of Euromaidan. Now he is persecuted in Russia, but in Zuhel's biography has dark spots - a criminal record ."

“ In Europe, I learned that at my house on June 27 search and I pass as a suspect under the article "Hooliganism" and the fact that organized rallies against the war in Ukraine. I plan to get Ukrainian citizenship, and join the ranks of the Azov Battalion ,” Zheleznov told the media.

Zheleznov came to Ukraine from the second attempts. On July 8, he was denied entry to Ukraine due to a ban on entry into the country of Russian male citizens aged 16 to 60 years.

Recall that at the end of the summer of 2009, Zheleznov was sentenced to four years in a colony-settlement for attacking a person: in January 2009, he shot a minor Matvey Tal with a traumatic pistol. On November 4, 2012 and May 1, 2013, he led the Wotanjugend column on the Russian March and Russian May Day. On May 26, 2013, he was detained for attempting to steal 2 kg of meat (for a total amount of 2,300 rubles) in the Auchan supermarket (according to other sources - Metro). On November 29, 2013, the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow sentenced Zukhel to ten months in prison.
