Criminal case for materials on social networks

On July 9, 2014, a criminal case was initiated in Krasnodar against an Internet user for materials on a social network.

On July 9, 2014, the Investigative Committee for the Prikubansky District of Krasnodar of the ICR for the region initiated a criminal case against a 21-year-old local resident, suspected under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of hatred on the basis of nationality, language and origin).

According to the investigators, from November to December 2012, the young man posted in free access on his page of one of the social networks materials " containing statements that negatively assess a group of people on the grounds of nationality, language and origin ." Sources
