In the Stavropol region, an Islamist video is recognized as extremist material

In the Stavropol Territory, at the request of the prosecutor's office, it was recognized extremist video material calling for the construction of an Islamic state.

On July 18, 2014, the prosecutor's office of the Stavropol Territory reported on the recognition of the video “The Clash of Swords (Salil Savarim)” as extremist material.

Video in Arabic with Russian subtitles access was revealed by the Mineralnye Vody Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office. According to the prosecutor's office, this video containing the glorification of the Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant, calls to clean up the Arabian Peninsula, return to Muslims Andalusia, aiming for excitement religious hatred and propaganda of the inferiority of a person and a group of persons according to their belonging to different religious movements.

The court satisfied the claim of the prosecutor's office for the recognition of the video extremist material.
