St. Petersburg: nationalist Nikolai Bondarik was released on his own recognizance

In July 2014, in St. Petersburg, the court released an undertaking not to leave the nationalist N. Bondarik, who is accused of complicity in preparing a provocation for Eid al-Adha.

In July 2014, the St. Petersburg City Court overturned the decision of the Primorsky District Court on the arrest of nationalist Nikolai Bondarik and released him on bail.

Recall that N. Bondarik is accused of complicity in preparing a provocation on Eid al-Adha: two residents of St. Petersburg stated that they were attacked for national reasons, however then confessed to the staging.

He is charged with paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting a national hatred within the group).

In May, the court decided to extend his arrest for another 6 months, but now this decision was reversed.
