Perm: the criminal case regarding the article “Hysteria in Pugachev’s style” has been returned for further investigation

In July 2014, in the Perm Territory for further investigation, the criminal case against Roman Yushkov was returned. In September 2014, this decision came into force.

In July 2014 in Perm, the prosecutor's office was returned a criminal case against a member of the Perm regional human rights center of Roman Yushkov, initiated upon the publication of the article “Hysteria in Pugachev's way" on the pages of the regional newspaper "Zvezda".

Recall that R. Yushkov is charged with inciting a national hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code) and public calls for extremism (part 2 of article 280 UK).

The defendant's lawyer pointed out to the court several violations in the case by filing a corresponding petition, which the court granted.

In September 2014, the prosecutor's office tried to challenge the decision of the Motovilikha District Court to return the case for additional investigation in the Perm Regional Court, but to no avail. It is reported that the case has already been transferred to the FSB.
