More materials from Jehovah's Witnesses have been recognized as extremist in the Altai Territory

At the end of July 2014, a court in Barnaul recognized four brochures of Jehovah's Witnesses as extremist.

On July 31, 2014 it became known that the Central District the court of Barnaul satisfied the claim of the prosecutor's office of Barnaul on the recognition of four extremist brochures of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Materials "What can you hope for" were recognized as extremist people?", "How to develop a close relationship with God?", "What you need to know about God and his plan?", "How to achieve happiness in life?", identical to the fundamental Jehovah's Witnesses text "What Does the Bible Really Teach?" Federal List of Extremist Materials (p. 510) based on the decision Rostov Regional Court dated September 11, 2009.

The court agreed with the opinion of the prosecutor's office that these materials " insult religious feelings, humiliate human dignity on the principle of attitude towards religions, promote the exclusivity of one religion over another ."

As a reminder, we consider the prohibition of the texts of Jehovah's Witnesses to be extremism is illegal and we perceive it as religious discrimination. Except Moreover, propaganda of the superiority of one's religion over others cannot be considered a sign of extremism, since it is contrary to both the law and common sense.
