Editor, tormented for Bagirov

In Anapa, the criminal prosecution of the main Anatoly Kuznetsov, editor of the Anapa-pro website, under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (excitation hatred and enmity).

The case against Kuznetsov was initiated on June 28, 2013. The reason for the persecution was a link to a YouTube video posted on the website on December 26, 2012. In this video, the writer Eduard Bagirov makes provocative xenophobic anti-Russian statements (quotes his own "manifesto" published on the "padonkaff" website Udaffcom, included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials under number 2306 as "Information material "Bagirov's Manifesto", posted on the website www.anticompromat.org"), which, in particular, gave the writer the opportunity to to assert that what was said is not his position, but the monologue of a lyrical hero works).

At what stage is the investigation into the Kuznetsov case, difficult to understand. According to the editor of "Anapa-pro" himself, in a year he participated in only one interrogation. He claims to have been given two question: about the authorship of the video and the second - the following content: " Would you like to a person of one nationality, after watching a video, harm a person of another nationality? "

Anatoly Kuznetsov categorically denies his guilt and considers criminal prosecution as a way to stop his social activity. The editor assures that the motive for publishing the video was not the intention to incite hatred, and the desire to draw the attention of readers to the topic and discuss problems nationalism.

We have no reason to question Kuznetsov's words. The video published on "Anapa-pro" is provided with the title "Extremism from Bagirov - "Putin's confidant"?" and completely neutral interactive survey entitled "Interethnic Peace in the Country". Currently, the page contains an illustration - a screenshot of the page with a link to the video and a frame from the video.

The video was not considered extremist at the time of publication. (and not recognized as such until now). The video received a wide response and there is in other open sources.

The content of the site "Anapa-pro" is a republication articles from major online publications on political and social topics, and original materials, including critical ones, mostly concern public problems of the life of the city and the region, including those related to interethnic relations. Basically, such materials are devoted to the Cossacks; in general, they look balanced.

This allows us to consider a criminal case against Anatoly Kuznetsov unlawful.
