The Pskov Province turned to the press service of the governor for a comment and received an answer that there would be no substantial commentary. The Pskov media, which are partly subordinated to the regional authorities as the founder, and, apparently, took part for the election period, also did not pay attention to the investigation of the Fontanka. Both Turchak and his team from the very beginning of the leadership of the region to this day have been acting with the policy of power. Firstly, this is how business teaches. Secondly, this is how Vladimir Putin teaches, to whom Turchak is especially “federal pass”. Thirdly, the difference in understanding the policy between the Turchak and the Pskov political elite was so great that it was possible to prove his superiority (and he wanted to prove it to the young and inexperienced governor with all his might) only by force, stupid political rudeness and work in the style of a bear in raspberries. Almost the entire five -year term was so built. Moreover, not only with the opposition, but also with their own: politicians once respected in Pskov turned into worthless political substance.
So why should it be surprised that such a company could well decide to teach Oleg Kashin in this way? No need to be surprised at all. The Turchak administration of the 2014 version of 2014, maybe, could restrain myself, but certainly this has nothing to do with its version of 2010. The fact that the governor of the region entered the blog of a popular independent journalist, and none of the henchmen suggested him, says the impenetrable directness of thinking: this is if you do not use another word that looks like the word “stupidity”.
The scandal with beating was more or less hung. The Turchak administration generally just had a lot of blunders, stupid things, frank failures, and almost all (in any case, the key) of them managed to hush up.
