Leonid Volkov's blog was blocked for a post about the Novosibirsk march

On August 6, 2014, the LiveJournal of opposition activist Leonid Volkov was blocked.

On August 6, 2014, it became known that, at the request of the General prosecutor's office blocked the blog of opposition activist, ally of Alexei Navalny, Leonid Volkov in "Live magazine". Volkov said that the blog was blocked in Russia for a post about "Siberian March" - " in connection with the placement of information containing calls for riots, extremist activities or participation in mass (public) events held in violation of established order ", and posted on Twitter a screenshot of an official letter from Conflict Commission LiveJournal.

Volkov also stated that he had already edited his message and deleted " all the information that appeared to the Prosecutor General's Office illegal ". According to him, the request for unblocking has already been sent to him in Roskomnadzor.
