Islamic video recognized as extremist in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the court, at the request of the prosecutor's office, recognized video published by a user of the VKontakte network claiming the superiority of Islam and calling for "jihad".

On August 14, 2014, the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported on the recognition of a video posted by VKontakte as extremist.

Republican prosecutor's office found that one of the users of this social network published a video aimed at humiliating honor and dignity of citizens on the basis of religion.

The video contains statements that the superiority of Islam, expressing a hostile attitude towards those who do not believe in Allah, as well as to Muslims who do not participate in "jihad".

The prosecutor's office appealed to the court, demanding recognition of the video extremist. The court granted the prosecutor's request.
